Question:

What would your perfect day look like?

Answer:

After a night of uninterrupted sleep I'd wake early to cuddles with my baby and husband and head off for some me-time at the gym before breakfast, then we'd head into London town (I'd read all the way on the tube) and hang out; a fashion exhibition, some shopping, mooching about and going to The Palomar for lunch and champagne -  we'd head home, I'd have two hours of solid writing time while the boys snoozed, just about time for a game of tennis, then we'd head off to a huge house in the English countryside where all our friends and family would be waiting for a big party with great music before crashing out in a huge comfy bed and reflecting on my perfect day - doing the things I love with the people I love.

*too much in one day?

** I can dream, right?

Question:

What three words best describe your day?

Answer:

  1. Busy, 2. enjoyable and 3. unusually balanced.

(1. Looking after my 7 month old who is a gorgeous, solid-food eating, playful bundle is a full-time job in itself. 2. It was my hubbie's final day of the Christmas holidays and we all went out for lunch and a walk and 3. because I got 45 minutes out of the day to escape to the gym, a bit of time to answer some blog emails and post this post and even 2 minutes to decide what book to read next. Bliss).

Question:

What is one of your life dreams?

Answer:

To one day have a book published with moderate success (and hold a great big launch party, Sex and The City Season 5, Episode 5 style - whoop!) or at the very least have an article I've written featured by a well-known and respected publication; I've had work published on the Jazz FM website so I'm hoping if I work hard it'll be onwards and upwards from here.

A girl can dream...
