'Nothing will work unless you do' by Maya Angelou; it's simple but motivating and when I'm up late or squeezing stuff into little pockets of time it reminds me why.

Answer:
I feel very lucky to have all the things that matter to me; health, a beautiful son, a loving husband, dear family, a house in London Town, and great friends and I try hard not to take these for granted or wish too much for the material things (I'm looking at you, social media) but if I have to change something...

When was the last time you received a compliment and who was it from?
Answer:
It was yesterday and it was from my dear friend Maxine; I was grumbling about being in a fashion rut and feeling like I'd lost my identity since my precious son has been born and she said something very nice that made me feel much better.

Answer:
Chatting to strangers; at Evan's music class and in Cafe Benito in E17 today I met some really lovely, kind, inspirational women who stopped to chat, coo over Evan and gave me sound advice about parenting and the challenges of trying to 'do it all'; including *prioritise*, *don't try to be perfect*, *make sure you protect your well deserved free time to do what YOU want* *routine is good but sometimes you have to let it all go and just enjoy the moment* *make the most of every day - it goes so fast*. (Disproving the view that Londoners can be unfriendly!).
